Last year I heard someone express that she absolutely would not shut down light during Earth Hour. “For even a kid can figure out that it is not saving the planet to shut down light during one hour and besides, it’s not the lights that are the biggest threat to the environment.”
This person has probably not quite gotten the message.
All demonstrations and international “days” refers of course to highlight an important issue. And the more we are showing we care, the more it becomes clear that we are many of us (we are not alone in the job to save the planet), and together we get new ideas on how we can move on.
I belong to the crowd that loves manifestations, ceremonies and celebrations, and I believe that every good thought will lead us one step closer to action, and every action will lead us one step closer to our goal.
So I hope that the you will all join us this year, and get to know the the power in the knowledge that we are many of us, standing up for what we believe in.
